Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design of NVH products based on specification of requirements (SOR) along the VC
2. ProMaP workflow from the pre-RFQ phase to SOP
3. Comprehensive knowledge of and working in compliance to design guidelines, standards and best practice portfolios; implement and support innovative solutions
4. Part design in respect to robustness, feasibility (DFM) and design to cost (D2C) using global VC Engineering tools - considering the respective due dates
5. Contribution to root cause analysis, definition of design counter measures and optimizations to fulfill the requirements
6. Documentation of development results (e.g. 3D/2D CAD, FEA reports, durability predictions and ProMaP deliverables) according to internal standards - upload of deliverables to VC ProMaP
