Job Summary

The Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, New Brunswick is recruiting a full‑time Dermatologist. The successful applicant will provide dermatology consultations for out‑of‑hospital patients, patients on medical/surgical units, and those in the emergency department. The role also involves teaching students and residents in medicine and working with considerable clinical independence within the scope of dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, care for, and treat medical disorders within the scope of dermatology.
• Provide dermatology consultations to out‑of‑hospital patients, medical/surgical unit patients, and emergency department patients.
• Teach and supervise medical students and resident physicians.
• Work independently while being subject to review by the physician’s Clinical Program Head or Chief of Service.
• Participate in on‑call duties; after‑hours and weekend calls are shared among two dermatologists...
