Role Overview
The Assistant Manager Taxation is responsible for the execution and coordination of the group's tax compliance and reporting functions. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely filings, maintaining rigorous tax documentation, and providing technical support during audits and litigations to minimize the group's tax risk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Operational Execution
Return Preparation: Lead the end-to-end preparation of monthly and annual Income Tax and Sales Tax returns. Ensure all filings on IRIS/FBR and provincial portals (SRB, PRA, etc.) are accurate and submitted before deadlines.
Withholding Tax (WHT) Management: Supervise the calculation and deposit of withholding taxes. Ensure monthly WHT statements are reconciled with the general ledger.
Provincial Coordination: Monitor compliance across all provincial jurisdictions, ensuring the correct application of varying tax rates for services.
