Purpose of the Role

The Deputy Headteacher supports the Headteacher in providing effective leadership and management of the school.

The role is pivotal in driving high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and pastoral care in a trauma‑informed, therapeutic environment.

Mynydd Haf School provides high quality learning experiences within a small, focused nurturing environment to secondary school aged children who have an IDP/ALN Statement and have ADHD and/or express behaviours that are challenging or inappropriate in a community setting. Class sizes are small, and the staff‑to‑student ratio is usually 2:4 in all classes.
