Ashurst Primary School is seeking an outstanding practitioner, manager and leader as our new deputy headteacher starting September 2026. The role includes a full‑time teaching commitment and responsibility for pupil premium. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high expectations and inclusive practice across all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with experience
- Have experience of successful middle and subject leadership of a core subject area
- Ability to lead and manage a range of staff effectively
- Demonstrate high expectations for all pupils, including disadvantaged groups
