Deputy District Attorney

County of Madera is establishing a list of qualified applicants for this position. Applications will be accepted continuously until otherwise noted and the list will be used to fill current vacancies in this classification. Under direction performs professional legal duties in support of the District Attorney's Office and the prosecution of criminal activities; represents the District Attorney's Office and litigates assigned cases in courts of law; performs legal research; plans and coordinates investigations for the prosecution of legal cases; and performs related duties as assigned. Receives general direction from the District Attorney. Exercises no direct supervision over staff.
