Job Title: Dental Assistant – Community Health
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 6:30pm
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support a community health clinic focused on providing high-quality, accessible dental care to underserved populations. This role plays a key part in supporting dentists and ensuring an efficient, patient-centered environment while promoting oral health education within the community.
Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions

+ Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with infection control standards

+ Obtain and record patient medical and dental histories accurately

+ Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations

+ Provide chairside support, including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort
