Dementia Support Worker

An exciting opportunity for a Dementia Support Worker to join the Care of the Elderly team (Ffynnon Ward A) at Holywell Community Hospital.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of dementia care, who is keen to support patients during their stay in hospital and to develop the service for the future.

Responsibilities

• Support dementia patients during their stay in hospital.
• Demonstrate care and compassion for patients with delirium.
• Develop skills and ensure a high standard of care is delivered.
• Assist in developing the dementia care service for the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in dementia care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care in a demanding environment.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome.
