Job Description

Position overview:
 The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with their assigned customers and/or parts.The Demand Planner also facilitates a monthly SIOP discussion.Main responsibilities:The Demand Plannerwill be responsible for the following: Develop demand forecast for assigned customers and/or parts by overseeing the demand planning tasks, manage the process
Conduct review meetings with a customers, sales teams, and supply chain to improve forecast accuracy
Use and maintain the demand planning software as a primary forecasting tool
Identify areas of improvement and recommend action plans
Monitor, analyze and prepare key performance reports to include forecast accuracy and MAPE
Continuous improvement of forecasting processes and systems
