Salary range: £48,000 – £58,000. Location: Bristol, Gloucester, Leatherhead, Burton, Manchester or Plymouth. Working Pattern: flexible hybrid.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Safety / Certification Engineer to support the delivery of safety assurance and certification activities across Defence Land Systems, including armoured vehicles, autonomous systems, weapons platforms, and supporting infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure systems are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose, working across the full lifecycle from concept through to in‑service support. This client‑facing role requires solid technical expertise, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
