Dedicated Perinatal Sonographer II

Job Summary:


Perinatal Sonographer- performs high risk diagnostic obstetrical sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Assists with specialty procedures. Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.

Essential Responsibilities:


+ Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations (anatomy scans, Growth, Biophysical profile, Dopplers, assist in amniocentesis).

+ Preform ultrasound exams according to AIUM protocols.

+ Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.

+ Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
