JOB TITLE: DECLARATION OFFICER

JOB PURPOSE

The Declaration Officer will be responsible for accurate and timely entry registration and customs declaration processing in compliance with KRA and other regulatory authorities. The role is critical in ensuring smooth cargo clearance, compliance with customs laws, and minimization of delays, penalties, and errors.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform customs entry registration and declaration using the iCMS system in accordance with KRA regulations.

· Accurately capture cargo details, tariff classification, customs values, and applicable duties and taxes.

· Ensure all declarations comply with customs laws, procedures, and internal company policies.

· Coordinate with operations, documentation, and transport teams to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.
