DCS Field Service Engineer

Job Description Summary

Field Service Engineer is responsible for handling all DCS/CS activities in the field for all GE Vernova Grid Automation projects, including on‑shore, off‑shore, in UAE and to support Oman. The Field Service Engineer will closely coordinate the activities with DCS Engineering & Field Service team, Project management, Application and After Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Shall be capable of preparing Signal List from Schematics and other applicable documents.

• Shall have sufficient knowledge to prepare Interlocking documents from Main PLD.

• Responsible for the Field Services activity of the Substation Automation Systems including DCS/SCS, RTU and Cyber security.

• Take the complete ownership of technical activities for assigned projects (EHS coordination and follow up, Site Survey, Engineering, Design, Follow Up and Support Panels Integration, Pre‑FA...
