Position Description

As a Coordinator of an energetic day camp team, you will mentor and motivate a group of staff in one of Norfolk County’s summer camps. Responsibilities include program planning, program delivery, staff feedback and evaluation, and administration; supervising a group of 1 to 10 campers (children or youth). Through effective leadership and programming, you enable children and youth to develop skills, make friends, socialize and build self-esteem. You are accountable for the wellbeing of staff and campers under the guidance of the Regional Coordinator, ensuring camp activities are safe, inclusive, and high quality following the High Five model.

• Develop program plans during Coordinator Training and submit them to the Regional Coordinator prior to the commencement of the summer day camp program (July 4, 2026). Prepare and submit a wrap‑up report by August 26, 2026.
