Database Engineer

We are looking for an Oracle Database Engineer . You will work in an enterprise context with a cross-functional product team in an agile, release-driven model.

Work setup: Hybrid (Lisbon) – 2 days on-site per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize Oracle database solutions on OCI (performance, security hardening, observability)
• Engineer and maintain Oracle databases (19c/23AI/26AI) for performance, security, and AI-readiness
• Lead SQL Server to Oracle 23AI migrations, ensuring minimal business disruption
• Develop and refactor complex financial processes and business logic in PL/SQL stored procedures (consolidation, management reporting)
• Redesign and automate data mapping at stored procedure level for consolidation workflows
• Implement scalable data models aligned with agile reporting and analytics needs
