Database Administrator - SQL

My client is a boutique professional services firm delivering complex State Government programs is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join a high-performing team supporting critical enterprise environments.

This role will suit a seasoned DBA with strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise and exposure to Oracle environments, who thrives in structured, security-focused, and highly governed environments.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2022) across Windows virtual servers, Azure, AWS, Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS

• Strong experience with installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, database creation and ongoing maintenance (statistics, index rebuilds)

• Proven expertise in backup and recovery, HA/DR strategies including Mirroring and AlwaysOn
