Database Administrator (L2) Brampton - Hybrid (2-3 days from Office) 1. Database Operations & Maintenance Perform daytoday administration of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases. Monitor database performance, health, and availability using standard monitoring tools. Handle operational activities including: Database startup/shutdown Instance refreshes User and role management Basic performance tuning Support maintenance tasks such as: Index rebuilds Statistics updates Log maintenance Storage and space management 2. Backup & Recovery Execute and manage scheduled backup and restore operations. Support periodic recovery testing and assist in disaster recovery procedures. Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure successful completion. 3. Incident & Problem Management Respond to L2 incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
