Data Scientist

The Data Scientist is Afni’s catalyst of discovering the hidden insights in vast amounts of data, and enables our leaders to make smarter decisions about their business. He/she is proficient in applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems, integrated with the products and services that Afni provides.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Analyze large, complex data and translates them into human insights and stories which drive actions/changes in strategy and tactics.
2. Selecting comprehensive features, building, and optimizing classifiers using appropriate machine learning techniques/algorithms.
3. Build predictive and forecasting models.
4. Identify and conduct data mining of various sources of data (structured, unstructured)
