- Security and compliance leader responsible for ensuring an organization manages personal data in accordance with privacy laws, such as the EU's GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA).



Core Responsibilities

- Operates independently to bridge the gap between business processes and legal regulations.



Key duties include:

Advisory: Informing management and employees of their obligations under applicable data protection laws.

Monitoring: Ensuring organizational compliance, overseeing audits, and directing employee training.

Impact Assessments: Providing guidance on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and monitoring their performance.

Grievance Redressal: Serving as the primary point of contact for data subjects regarding requests to access, correct, or erase their personal data.
