Data Protection L3 Engineer

with strong expertise in

Commvault and Metallic Backup

solutions. The role requires advanced troubleshooting, design, and operational ownership of enterprise backup environments, along with

basic (L1-level) HP Storage hardware knowledge

to support hardware replacement activities.

Key Responsibilities
Act as

L3 escalation point

for data protection incidents, problems, and service requests.
Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions using

Commvault and Metallic .
Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes for complex backup failures and performance issues.
Manage backup policies, schedules, retention, replication, and disaster recovery readiness.
Support backup operations across

physical, virtual, and cloud workloads .
