Data Protection Engineer

We are recruiting a Data Protection & DLP Engineer for a global energy trading company based in Geneva.

This is a technical hands‑on role reporting directly to the CISO, focused on deploying and operating enterprise‑wide data classification and DLP capabilities in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure trading environment.

The role requires strong technical depth to implement solutions, project management skills to sequence deployments, and the ability to investigate data exfiltration incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Automation (Priority)

• Design and deploy technical data classification and labelling frameworks
• Build and automate data discovery, protection and encryption policies
• Develop scripts and technical solutions to maximise automation
• Configure DLP tools across cloud, email, web and endpoint channels
