Job Description

                We are looking for an offshore Data Platform Operations Engineer to support a managed AWS data platform environment using Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Amazon Aurora, Amazon S3, and CDC-based data flows.   
 This role is focused on keeping the platform healthy day to day: monitoring jobs, triaging alerts, restarting failed workloads, documenting incidents, escalating issues, and following runbooks for backup and recovery checks.   
 Responsibilities:     Monitor Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, Aurora, S3, and related pipeline health.     
Triage PagerDuty, Slack, email, and ticket-based operational alerts.     
Restart failed jobs and perform first-level incident investigation.     
Validate backup status, PITR windows, and restore-readiness checks.     
Maintain operational runbooks and known issue documentation.     
Escalate P1/P2 incidents to onshore leads and client technical contacts.
