The Data Modeler designs conceptual, logical, and physical schemas to support the organization’s data architecture. They develop comprehensive source-to-target mapping documents that define the transformation logic and metadata required for data integration. By applying normalization and dimensional modeling, the individual optimizes data structures for performance, scalability, and accurate business reporting.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creation of the logical and physical data models for the Gold Layer, focusing on creating subject-oriented, dimensional models (, Star/Snowflake schemas) optimized for high-volume query performance.
Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, metadata management, and data type definitions specific to the consumption layer, ensuring semantic consistency across all critical business domains.
