Job Description

Position Summary
The Taub Institute and Sergievsky Center seek a Data Manager to support several federally funded, multi-center studies. Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Project Manager, the incumbent will manage the storage, querying, and integration of genetics and clinical data. This role includes proactively assessing database hardware and software to improve efficiency and performance, and recommending and implementing upgrades to support project goals and activities. The Data Manager will adhere to university policies, technical standards, and best practices to ensure operational excellence
Responsibilities
Managing the storage and querying of various genetics data (GWAS, WES, WGS).

Linking genetics to clinical data.

Testing programs or databases, correcting errors, and making necessary modifications.

Specifying users and user access levels for each segment of the database.
