Data Lead

About the role

The Data Lead is the technical authority for our data platform, data engineering practice and business intelligence standards. Sitting within our Data and AI team and reporting to the Data & AI Manager, you will set the architectural direction the team builds against, keep our data assets reliable and trustworthy, and provide hands‑on technical leadership to two Analytics Engineers.

This is a senior practitioner role with a deep technical focus rather than a people‑management role. Your main contribution is your expertise: owning the architecture, setting and enforcing standards, guiding the work of the team, and making sure our data platform is fit for purpose as our analytics and AI work expands.
