Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to join a large retail client on a 6-month contract. This resource will support the Data Governance team in maturing and operationalizing Microsoft Purview across the organization, with a robust focus on governance practices, data visibility, and secure data access.

Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for supporting the configuration and ongoing optimization of the Purview environment, ensuring system health, monitoring, and issue resolution across key platforms including Databricks and Power BI. The Specialist will play a key role in enabling automated data scanning and classification to identify sensitive data, map data lineage, and support visibility into the broader data estate.
