Data Governance Consultant

This is a remote position. - Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, business definitions, and validation standards for key reporting and analytics data assets - Use SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to profile data, investigate quality issues, validate transformations, and confirm data readiness for business use - Partner with BI teams to ensure dashboards, reports, metrics, and curated datasets are supported by trusted and well-understood data - Monitor recurring data quality checks, identify anomalies, document root causes, and coordinate remediation with data owners and technical teams - Maintain metadata, data lineage, business glossaries, and data issue logs to improve transparency and usability of data assets - Promote data governance and stewardship best practices by educating stakeholders on data standards, ownership, and proper use of certified data Requirements Required Qualifications - Experience in data stewardship, data governance, data quality, business intelligence, an...
