Our Client's Digital Platforms Insights team is looking for a Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL development and SQL querying.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Designing and developing HIVE code
• Designing and developing automated solutions
• Performance monitoring and tuning of existing automated jobs
• Troubleshooting failures
• Ad hoc analyses
• Query data to answer business questions and to support investigations

What you need to succeed

• Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Thorough, take detailed notes and capture correct information
• Strong ETL development background
• BASH experience
• Understanding of YARN and HDFS
• Experience with SQL for analysis and data investigation
• AWS cloud experience a plus, but not required (Cloudwatch, Lambda, EMR, Athena) ...
