Job Description
This is a Technical Lead / Senior Data Engineer role focused on a major digital transformation: migrating legacy on-prem SQL Server 2012 environments to a modern Microsoft Fabric/Azure cloud-native architecture.
Core Mission
You will be the architectural backbone, leading the transition from monolithic systems to a hybrid, real-time data platform while mentoring a team on cloud best practices.
️ Key Technical Stack
Platform: Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Notebooks, Data Factory, Eventstreams).
Real-Time: Change Data Capture (CDC), Spark Streaming, and PySpark for sub-2-second data propagation.
API & Integration: GraphQL, Azure Functions (Proxies), and Azure API Management (APIM).
Legacy: SQL Server 2012 (Transactional Replication) and migration to Delta Lake.
DevOps: Azure DevOps for CI/CD and automated governance.
