Data Engineer

The Data Engineer is a critical role in growing the data maturity of the lab organization at UL Solutions. The candidate will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of software developers, data scientists, and architects working toward developing data solutions for the lab. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing. Sources may come from disparate data types, including legacy databases and documents using popular open-source software. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, technology teams, and management to design and validate the capabilities of the data platform. This position requires a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in data processing and orchestration.
