RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering a design package to the data hall build team including:
• data hall design
• implementation script for data hall fit-out
• bill-of-materials (BOM)
• port mapping
• patch panel matrices
• physical inventory of network equipment
• prepare and deliver appropriate CAD designs
• Work-product customers: 70% IT / 30% construction team

SKILLS

• Review CAD drawing provided by the building/colocation facility owner
• Review BIM model: detailed 3D digital twin, integrating structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
• Interpret a network design and translate that into physical inventory list of network equipment and infrastructure
• Interpret building CAD/floor plan and overlay rack layout
• Analyze cable/conduit fill-ratio, evaluate secure duct and conduit availability ...
