Data Center Cabling Technician I

Our entry level Data Center Cabling Technicians perform skilled infrastructure/structured cabling work in a data center for the installation, service and maintenance, repair and alteration of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling and other various low voltage cabling systems. Complete physical installations and removal of structured cabling components, cabinets, pathway systems (cable tray), move equipment, racks, and related communications infrastructure materials.

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the installation and decommissioning of structured cabling and network infrastructure within a data center environment as part of supervised technical training.

+ Support rack, stack, and cable management activities in accordance with industry standards and organizational best practices.

+ Participate in monitoring data center environments, identifying alarms or irregular conditions, and escalating findings under guidance....
