Job Description
Support daily farm operations, oversee herd and pasture care, and help drive high‑performance, sustainable dairy farming.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed and care for stock, setting break fences
- Assist with milking, shed hygiene, and milk quality standards
- Support calving, mating, and dry stock management
- Operate and maintain farm vehicles and machinery
- Manage effluent systems and environmental compliance
- Keep tools and equipment clean, tidy, and in good working order
This permanent role is based at our Lincoln-based Lincoln University Dairy Farm (LUDF). You will work an average of 45 hours per week (1.0 FTE) on a 6/2 roster.
Compensation
Total remuneration package is $77,120 – $84,120 per annum, plus a clothing allowance of $520.
