Exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a rapidly expanding, technology SME based near Oxford, to drive cyber security strategy across their technologies, offering a competitive salary/package and development opportunities!
The role
The newly created Cyber Security Engineer position will report directly to the CIO and be responsible for leading the company's strategy for cyber security in line with various regulatory standards. This will include:
working closely with technical development teams, ensuring secure software development practices (DevSecOps) and overseeing security architecture across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments 
developing, implementing and maintaining cyber security strategy and governance (aligned to various frameworks e.g. ISO27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials)
overseeing security operations (SOC, threat detection, vulnerability management etc.), and incident response plans
