• Certification as a Surgical Technician

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique in the operating room (OR).
• Set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Pull cases as needed, and break down cases at the end of procedures.
• Prepare the OR and supplies needed for the day's and following day's schedule.
• Be available for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as required by unit needs.
