A well-established clearing and forwarding company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join their team. This role is focused exclusively on customs entries, with a clear growth path into a management position.
Key Responsibilities Accurately process and submit customs entries for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all SARS and customs regulations. Utilize Shipshape software to manage and track customs documentation efficiently. Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) to determine appropriate duties and taxes. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and customs officials to ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments. Resolve any customs-related queries or discrepancies in documentation.
