Job Description

The New Zealand Government is seeking a Custody Officer to join the Auckland City District Custody Units. This casual, on‑call role supports the safe, humane containment and transport of detainees within police custody environments, including courts and transit between locations. 
You will help monitor detainees, assist with risk management, maintain interagency relationships, and ensure data entry and legislative compliance while working flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
