CT Technologist
What do CT Technologists do? Operate head or body X-ray scanners that create a computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.
CT Tech- weekend/days
Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages. Position will be working in a fast paced environment in level one trauma center.
Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: CT experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire. ARRT registry / valid BLS certification.
Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills, and flexibility in assignments.
