CT Tech Outpatient- AMI

Job Description Position Summary: The Outpatient Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Operates a CT scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies. Uses knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals. Modifies technical settings and adjusts scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize unnecessary exposure. Performs routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on scanner as recommended by the manufacturer and/or organizational policies and procedures.
