**Job Description :**

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Assists the Chief Nurse Anesthetist and the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology in meeting the goals and objectives of the department.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care. (35%)
+ Assumes all duties of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist during his/her absence from the unit. (35%)
+ Establishes effective interpersonal relationships and communication with interdisciplinary perioperative teams. (10%)
+ Demonstrates effective leadership and is responsible for ongoing professional growth and development. (10%)
+ Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. (5%)
+ Contributes to department, division and hospital goals. (5%)
