Crisis Response Services Nurse - Integrated Mobile Crisis Response Team (IMCRT) (RN/RPN)

RN/RPN plus two years recent directly related experience working with people experiencing mental illness in areas requiring frequent crisis intervention and risk assessments, either institutionally or community based, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant. Current CPR certification must be attached to application.

Experience in suicide prevention, crisis intervention and stabilization, with a wide range of serious mental illnesses. Experience working with families of the mentally ill. Knowledge of and experience working with related legislation such as the Mental Health Act. Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment. Knowledge of interviewing, assessment, crisis intervention and suicide prevention techniques.
