Credit Product Engineer

Required experience

• 8+ years working on lending, credit, or underwriting systems
• Direct experience with at least one of:
• Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
• Credit decisioning platforms
• Risk / underwriting tooling
• Document-heavy financial workflows
• Strong understanding of:
• borrowers, guarantors, collateral, entities
• credit policies and exceptions
• verification workflows (KYC, KYB, doc review, matching)

Technical skills

• Strong data modeling skills (relational + graph concepts)
• Comfortable reasoning about:
• schemas
• versioning
• auditability
• deterministic vs probabilistic systems
• Able to read and contribute to backend code (we don’t need you to ship everything, but you must be technical)
• Experience working with JSON-based configs, rules engines, or DSLs is a big plus
