Credit Evaluation Manager, Region Sarawak, Group Corporate Credit, Group Risk

Job Responsibilities

• To conduct thorough analysis of credit proposals and assessment of data provided by Lending Unit to evaluate the degree of risk of existing or prospective clients including annual review
• Responsible and accountable for the credit recommendation to enable decision makers to formulate well-informed decision
• To manage and provide oversight of the assigned portfolio with respective Lending Units by providing independent assessment and value-added input on overall credit risk appetite
• To maintain consistent high-quality standard of evaluation and provide measures to optimize Maybank's exposure to borrowers credit profiles as well as preserve the bank's asset quality
• Continuously learn and provide support to Risk Academy and Group Human Capital in developing a pool of highly capable and technically competent Originator and Evaluator that will be able to perform their functions effectively
