Credit Controller

RG Consultancy are working with an excellent manufacturing company, based at Trafford Park who are looking for a Credit Controller to join the finance team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be joining a small finance team.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for managing the full credit control function, ensuring customer accounts are paid on time and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Chasing outstanding payments and unpaid invoices
• Following up on remittances and debit notes
• Handling customer queries and resolving account issues
• Cash allocation and posting payments to ledgers
• Taking card payments and allocating receipts
• Opening new customer accounts
• Running credit reports
• Monitoring customer creditworthiness
• Liaising with credit insurers
• Producing aged debt reports
