Creative SEN Teacher — 1:1 & Group Interventions

Two SEN Teachers required for a wonderful SEN school based in Ashford.
This post is long term supply/temp to perm, 5 days a week
Position 1: To work predominantly 1:1 with a student in year 8 who has very low academic ability.
Working at an early years/foundation level, whilst appreciating that the student is year 8 and respectfully adapting things accordingly
Planning and executing lessons to meet the specific needs on the student and their capabilities
To be prepared to undertake interventions with other students across all year groups, when not required to work 1:1 with the student in question.

Position 2: To work with children in years 8 and 9 who have a degree of challenging behaviour
The majority would have come from a care background and have associated challenges as a result of past trauma, including attachment disorder
