Wētā FX is hiring experienced Layout Technical Directors to join the dynamic Layout team. The successful candidates will leverage procedural environment-building skills to craft CG environments, ensure shot continuity, and collaborate closely with animation and lighting teams. This six-month contract role promises creative challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate layouts for shots and sequences while maintaining continuity
• Create and publish essential cameras for Animation and Lighting
• Block scenes using existing assets and low poly geometry effectively
• Support shot setup with appropriate assets and scene structures
• Work hand-in-hand with Production, Animation, FX, and Lighting groups
