Job Description
Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Be responsible for performing electrical/mechanical maintenance, inspections, load testing of weight handling equipment (WHE) and material handling equipment (MHE) on the AUTEC Project per NAVFAC P-307, NAVSEA OP-5, NAVSEA Ch-589 requirements.
+ Maintain control of inspection records, manage the material deficiency reports and ensures all are recorded per NAVFAC, NAVSEA and NAVAIR requirements.
+ Mechanical and electrical inspections of Cat 1, Cat 3 (non-cab overhead), Cat 4 cranes, various MHE and rigging equipment to NAVFAC...
