All About the Role

 We are seeking an experienced Electric Overhead Crane Engineer based in Northern England to join our Asset Care Crane Division. This position will primarily support our Scunthorpe and group operations, with occasional travel to other Barrett Steel sites across the UK.The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis, and repair of Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes (EOTCs), ensuring maximum reliability, safety, and operational efficiency across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that own and team operations, including those undertaken on the Company's behalf are conducted in manner which fully complies with Barrett Steel Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Group Policies.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on overhead travelling cranes and associated equipment.
