CPA Articling Student/Staff Accountant

Job Description

Gauer Olsen Chartered Professional Accountants is a well-established local public accounting firm located in Victoria, BC. We are currently looking to hire for September 2026 and January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compilation and review engagement files, financial statements and corporate income tax returns for a wide variety of clients
• Prepares personal income tax returns and trust income tax returns
• Prepares a variety of Tslips
• Fulfills a variety of support roles in accounting and bookkeeping for clients
• Prepares GST and other statutory returns for clients as required
• Assists with special projects as assigned by partners and managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Eligible to enroll or currently enrolled in the CPA program or recently qualified CPA
• Strong academic record
• Great work ethic and ability to work in a team environmen...
