Country Anticipatory Action Coordinator

Overall Purpose of the Role

The National Anticipatory Action Coordinator will lead the implementation of the Scaling Anticipatory Action for Displacement (SAAD) project in Colombia. The role involves technical development of Anticipatory Action Plans, coordination of stakeholders, data analysis, advocacy, and project management, ensuring the integration of displacement forecast triggers into DRC’s existing humanitarian response mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Technical Implementation and AAP Development
  • Lead integration of displacement forecast triggers within Rapid Response Mechanisms, embedding a structured foresight layer and adapting activation protocols.
  • Lead development and operationalization of conflict‑sensitive Anticipatory Action Plans (AAPs) for Colombia, including trigger design and intervention packages.
